Assassin's Fate by Robin Hobb

5.0

‘This is our last hunt, old wolf. And as we have always done, we go to it together.’

What can I say about the final book in Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings series that hasn't already been said, and been said better than I ever could? The assorted adventures of FitzChivalry Farseer, Nighteyes and Beloved, the Bingtown Traders, and the Elderlings themselves comprise what became my favourite book series since the moment I finished Assassin's Quest. This final entry concludes the series, and the life of Fitz - the most complete, idiotic, and wonderful character in fiction - in ways both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Oh, Fitz.
