okay i was ready to not like this book but honestly this actually hit with me. like this touched on a lot of very heavy things in terms of like finding your footing without school as a Real Adult, feeling like everyone else has it together, sexism and misogyny and also the anxiety of feeling like everyone hates you or is out to get you. and the metaphor of the crack underlying everything and being an ever present thing and sophie essentially persevering in spite of all the cracks in her life is soooo chefs kiss. also i know ppl felt she was one dimensional bc of all the talk of her checking her social media but are we not all victims of that rn... all we do is scroll thru our stupid lil apps... guys. the thing is. it's actually Very Serious but also not at all serious!
Graphic: Bullying, Eating disorder, Sexual assault, and Vomit
Moderate: Toxic relationship and Toxic friendship
Minor: Body shaming, Emotional abuse, Fatphobia, Mental illness, Alcohol, and Injury/Injury detail
