A Game of Fate by Scarlett St. Clair
4.0
*****these are NOT two seperate series, they are an inconnected series and should be label in that manner. after reading touch of series, I had to go back and reread this to clear up some confusion. ARGHH!!!! at least I listen to it on audio
*****Usually when you get a POV from the other person, it is just a rehashing of the same story. Not this time, you get her side in a touch of darkness, you get his in the A Game of Fate, it is up to the reader to put the two together for one cohesive story.
If you haven't read A touch series and have questions about some things in this book, it is cleared up in that book.
We get Hades telling the story and for the most part it is funny, sarcastic, and gives the reader a lot of WHY behind Hades demeanor. We learn about his past decisions, get a little more info on the other gods. We see how their relationship develops through his eyes.
The one downside of this book is the detailed for pages sex scene, a page or two every so often is good, but after they give in to the lust, it is pages and pages of it.
