I wish the groundhogs day aspect played more of a part. I wanted to feel more of the frustration of being thrown back in time!
the love triangle bit didn’t feel fleshed enough imo. I wanted to know why Theo was a bad choice more. Also I was confused the first 3rd of the book because I thought she was getting with the same guy not his Though the way the book began, I thought it was going to be an age gap when Mae got in Ben’s bed.
THe salsa bowl scene and the flannel sleeping bag were highlight spice for me. Who doesn’t love a gray sweat pants moment!
I did love that she has such a big family and that there is so much love for each other. Her parents being divorced and still meeting for christmas was so nice to see oposed to the “we can’t be inthe same room” vibe most divorce tends to be represented. It was Fun reading about allof the traditions the group had and how Mae used her knowledge of what was happening to make it better than before! I also love ben! what a hero for saving the cabin and investing in spotify. I want a book on his crazy life bc it sounds fun!
Cute and Easy holiday read !
