๐ญIt's good to be back to Buttercup Hill! This time, we follow Trix as she reconnects with her old flame, Ren. After he broke her heart years ago, Trix didn't just sit around feeling sorry for herself. Instead, she threw herself into her career and became super successful, though maybe a tad too much of a workaholic. I really love that our FMC didn't let heartbreak keep her down and kept pushing forward.
Now, Ren was a bit hard for me to warm up to at first. I mean, he chose his hockey career over Trix, which was pretty rough. But hey, he was young and chasing his dreams, so I kinda get it. Thankfully, he totally redeems himself when he finds out about the oopsie baby. He knows he's got a lot of making up to do to earn back Trix's trust, and he doesn't shy away from it.
โ This is one of the better accidental pregnancy books I've read recently. Ren is ready to step up immediately, and he grovels his way to earn Trixโs forgiveness. The only tiny thing that bugged me was that Ren wasn't always the best at communicating, and that frustrates me. But he totally made up for it with that grand gesture at the end, it was so sweet, and I absolutely loved it!

Hannah and Wesley totally nailed it again! loved how they brought the characters to life just like in the previous book. If you enjoyed their last performance, you'll love this one even more!
