I liked Shutter and Exposure. Both are easy to follow along with at work and interesting enough to keep me engaged and listening. I wasn't sure why this sequel decided to do the alternating POV between Rita and the serial killer. I felt it didn't really add anything to the narrative and there wasn't a "this all makes sense now" moment. Rita almost felt like a side character. Things were happening around her and I guess we were supposed to be walking with her as she recovered from the events of book one but it feels like everything could've gone exactly as it did without her, unlike the first book. Still, I saw that this is planned to be a trilogy & I'm looking forward to the final book.
