Okay okay so like, yes totally 5 stars! So much Kaz scheming to blow my mind, like I just didn’t even worry, I knew he’d figure it out. Wylan and Jesper like hello, so cute!! And kaz and Inej at the end and that one scene like yes so much healing and character growth for them both! And then Nina and Matthias honestly deserved so much better... I just was screaming at my book at that part... it felt like such an empty death??? Like I get it’s supposed to be a mirror of himself in a way, but he had overcome it, like he doesn’t deserve this?! And it felt so random and out of nowhere?! Not cool! Like yes it’s possible that could happen, but did it need to? For the plot? Like no?! So for that reason, it’s dropped to like a 4.75 cause I am just pretending it didn’t happen(cause it’s easy to with how random and quickly it all happened! It honestly felt like an afterthought..)

Overall this book has a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to read it all again
