Looking for a swoony and emotional hockey romance? You are in the right place! I really enjoyed this book. You could really connect with the characters- feel their tension, anxiety, etc. I appreciated that both Sadie and Rhys had been through a lot and were finding their way back to themself in a way. They were both supportive in different ways. I loved how vocal and steadfast Rhys was in his love for Sadie. He was exactly what and who she needed. I did find the pacing to be slow at times, where the story kind of dragged. Unlike other hockey books you didn’t feel that found family among the team but you did get to see Sadie, her brothers, Rhys, and his parents become this cute little new family. I would recommend this for fans of single guardian or hockey romances especially if you want an emotional romance.
