This was heartbreaking to read, but reading stories like this is important and I wish they taught more about the cruelties that go on during war instead of just "this many people died from x time period to x time period" because there are still people alive and suffering from the experiences of war. And if more people read more stories like this I do think it would make them better people, or at least put them on the road to being a better person.
