Raven's Gate by Anthony Horowitz

4.0

I've read this as a child in the form of "The Devil's Doorbell". This is clearly a modernized rewrite: there are DVD's, mobile phones, the 21st century etc. The most ironic reference must be towards Harry Potter, since one of the criticisms of J.K.Rowling is that she 'stole' most of her ideas from Anthony Horowitz.

I found this book to be a nice, quick read still. The story is not very sophisticated, but it is still quite thrilling.
