I CANNOT EVEN with this book. It's bad sentence level writing. So. Bad. Character development is non-existent, and it relies on the evil ex-girlfriend trope. However, the worst thing is that it uses 9-11 as a point in its drama-llama soap opera plot shenanigans.

This was a book club book that someone else picked, and it convinced me to stay far far away from the author's other books.
