That ending gave me a heart attack!
The intrigue, evil schemes and political mind games continue in this book. It is action packed and interesting enough to keep my attention when I’m usually bored by politics and war.
This book finally moves away from Vere descriptions and Damen feeling bad for himself, and we get to see all his qualities.
Laurent is fantastic, he needs a hug.
