Vesper has to be my favorite character name of the year. Her whole life she has wanted to go to the academy, but then she is thrown into the underworld she never knew.

I really liked the different powers and the world building. I am so ready for book 2!

Good for political dystopian readers, fans of fast paced adventure stories, and dragons!
