Drop Dead Sisters by Amelia Diane Coombs
4.0
3. 75 stars.
This was a quick, light and entertaining read that is unfortunately bogged down with repetition and romance, which is why I can't quite give it 4 stars. While I had empathy for almost all characters (and especially Remi as someone who also has high anxiety), none of the sisters were particularly likeable nor endearing. That said, I related to Remi's feeling of being an outsider within her family and her inner monologue.
The twists were mostly predictable, but it was still fun to read the reveals, and I did like the ending (even though it wasn't realistic at all).
Overall, a decent read for a rainy day or if you need a palate cleanser.
