The Woman in Our House by Andrew Hart

3.0

The concept of the nanny stolen identity could have been a 4 star rating, but unfortunately I rated it a 2.5, but being that is not an option I rounded it to a 3 star. The story started off strong, with revealing a twist early on, but quickly derailed with too many subplots. The book did not impress me at all. What really made me continue this book was the fact that the author referenced Charlotte and a particular neighborhood. I live in Charlotte and thought it was intriguing to read about a place I know. The ending was unnecessary. I felt like the author just wanted to hurry up and get the book over with. It’s like he just threw something at the end to conclude the book.
