"I am scared. but you...you make me feel like I don't have to be."
I am going to need Ki to write my personal love story into existence because I continue to be obsessed with her stories of the SOFTEST, SWEETEST, HONEST love ever. The way that Liam and Birdie built their relationship from a friends-to-lovers standpoint was everything to me, their foundation of trust, safety, and overall friendship created such a gorgeous love story that I was a puddle on the floor by the end of it.
Ki is always going to write two softies who just want someone to see all of them and accept/love them for who they are and Birdie and Liam are prime examples of that. I fell in love with Birdie so fast. I understood her and was rooting for her unlike any fmc Ki has written to date. Liam was such a good friend and person, I adored the way that Birdie showed him the love he was missing, they just fit so well together that I was a soft mushy mess.
This continues to be my favorite series from Ki, each book is somehow better than the last. Ki's writing is captivating, honest and so full of soft love that I am never going to tire of it.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
