This was such a pleasure to read and perfect timing when I needed something not too heavy to read. Although the stakes are not that high there is a little something in there to keep you interested. The baby dragons are obviously the main reason to read this, but then the human characters are fun too. The only reason it doesn't get a full 5 stars for me is because

for 85% of the book you are led to believe that the family is this crazy controlling lot and then as soon as he talks to them they are the sweetest, most supportive family ever. I didn't vibe with that... to be that oblivious to the family you were raised with and the lack of communication was annoying to me too.
