Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

I never thought I could or would binge read series, but I am so happy I did with this one. There was so much build up going into this book. Some parts felt rushed like when they went to go rescue Aelin. Her rescue seemed a little too easy. I enjoyed the ships and one of my favorite parts is Elide going to save Lorcan when everyone else had given up on him. That scene broke my heart and they are definitely a favorite of mine. Dorian had so much growth in this book. You start to notice him in Empire of Storms because he began to speak up, but he was amazing in KOA. The whole situation at the mountain made me love him so much more. Aelin became annoying because she would never saw Dorian as strong as her, but he was. Also Manon and Dorian are my thing ever and I would like an entire series just about them. At the end I wish there was more. We saw so much war, it would have been nice to see a wedding. I know we saw Aelin becoming queen, but I wish we had another happy moment. The first scene that made me tear up a little is at the beginning when Rowan is imaging Aelin and his child in the future.
