I needed some encouragement to read this book. I heard the praise; but, was discouraged by the screaming tweens at the DVD release party at my work. It was only when my very adult boyfriend said I needed to see the movie did I pick up the book (I like to read before seeing the film). It was fantastic! I wonder how much of the message is lost on the tween set who surly will be making Team Peeta and Team Gale shirts in the near future. I on the other hand do understand the subtle details that make the overall theme of this book. On to the second one!
