This is the first book I've read of Alison Bechdel's. I have heard great this about "Fun Home" and picked this up at the library. I can't say it's anything like I expected. It feels very like a thesis paper and comic in one. I did
Learn a lot about analysis I hadn't previously known, but I can't say the delivery was appealing. As an artist, I understand that it is sometimes crucial for a deeper understanding of something to make you feel as though you can "put it away", I just didn't connect with this book.
