god i loved revisiting this series, it’s so good (even though it’s disturbing that all the stuff going down happens to cats, but i choose to ignore that as much as possible)
i’d basically forgotten the entire plot of this series apart from the end with scourge killing tigerstar, so it was like reading it again for the first time. i forgot about who bluestar appoints deputy after redtails death and was so eager to find out who it was funny
i forgot how much of an ICON firepaw is cause damn this kid took shit from no one
and i forgot about the god damn DIVA yellowfang (love her love her love her) and her little story (along with spottedleaf dying in the first book lol)

poor little ravenpaw :( my heart breaks every time i read his god damn story and i wish he could’ve come back or something in the second series because he’s the sweetest cat ever and one of my favourites
i also forgot everyone who supported tigerclaw (longtail especially) and i kinda forgot all the drama that went down as tigerclaw laid out his plans
also i noticed something that i feel like doesn’t happen in the later books. despite the female cats being called she-cats they were called queens like 90% of the time even though i thought queens were prego cats/mothers??? i’m confused
anyways it was super nostalgic rereading these and now i have to reread the rest
