I found a new friend in Eddie.  If I ever am lucky enough to speak with Eddie, it would be an honor.  His story is beautiful and heartbreaking.  His outlook on life is astounding.  He somehow managed to find the positive in every little ounce of bad that came out of WWII.  This book is full of wisdom and empowering, uplifting stories.   The man survived because of his hope and will to live to find a better day.  This book only took me a few hours to read.  It was just so beautiful, I couldn’t put it down.  I think Eddie’s story needs to be heard, so I urge you to please pick this book up.  You will not regret it.  It may even change your perspective on life!
