I quite enjoyed the very beginning of the book, since Feyre was finally eating, but it got progressive worse for me. 
Most of the final battle is them being like “okay guys this is really it 🥺😔” just for surprise allies to pop out seconds later. And that would have been okay if it happened once, but that actually felt like the whole battle. Like how much luck can you give to these characters until it turns ridiculous and not believable? I don’t have an answer, but I know this was TOO MUCH. It takes away a lot. Do not put your characters in such deadly situations SO MANY TIMES, if you are not able to let some of them go. Killing off characters that maybe had two appearances in the whole serie does not count. Like, Amren finally freeing herself in 
 her true monster form could have been an interesting ending for her character. Nope, she HAD to come back as a faerie. Ugh. 

But thank you for not letting me down and actually letting Morrigan be a lesbian. We finally have one gay main character, keep them coming thank you this is still ridiculous
