Timebound [Kindle in Motion] by Rysa Walker

3.0

3.5 stars. I apparently bought this book in 2013 but waited until 10 years later to actually read it. Don’t ask me why now was suddenly the time but this was a free Kindle book and I’ve been burned by many a free Kindle book so that’s why it’s been sitting this long. Anyhow, it was better than I expected but also annoying. Kate is an illogical, inconsistent heroine. A brown belt in karate who spends more time being saved by others than using her skills to save anyone (though she theorizes about it a lot) and making bonehead choices. Also the instalove was a lot with not one but two dudes. It could have been about 50 pages shorter and cut out some of the repetitive build up to the actual time travel. But despite that, I could probably be convinced to read another with the hope that now that we‘ve got the backstory, the author can get straight to the action.
