American Royals by Katharine McGee
5.0
5 out of 5 crowns. While not as funny as The Royal We or as red hot raunchy as Red White and Royal Blue, I absolutely loved every minute of this. Each of the main characters (both the girls who narrate and the boys they love) was vivid, unique, and their complicated feelings about each other, about royalty and obligations of duty and family, and the world building was *chefs kiss* so much dang fun. Everything felt like something so similar to our own space and yet entirely distinct from it and I can’t wait to get back to spending time with these characters in volume #2!
