Spineless: The Science of Jellyfish and the Art of Growing a Backbone by Juli Berwald
3.0
I’m trying and failing to come up with who I would recommend this book to. Too much science for the memoir crowd but not enough science for the science crowd. And even if you’re into marine biology I can’t understand why you’d pick this book up instead of Edith Whidder’s book? Why read the book that spends a chapter briefly explaining Edith’s work when you can just read her book about her work?
