The Taiga Syndrome by Cristina Rivera Garza

4.0

This is the first book I've read by Cristina Rivera Garza. If I had to sum up her style based on it, I'd call it "playful." The book experiments quite a bit with form and narrative, but it also tells a compelling story. In another life, I'd like to spend more time with it to really understand everything Garza's doing, but in this life, I'm just happy I read it. 4/5 stars.
