Although this book is listed as a standalone you will appreciate it so much more if you have read the previous books in the Wicked Vows series. Renata was in the last book when she helped Isabella deal with her brother. Ollie is the brother of Lev (Isabella’s husband) and he watched over Renata in the previous book while they checked out her story. Renata of course has her own issues with her brother. She believed he was dead but she finds out he’s alive but if she lets anyone know he will kill Ollie. So now Renata has to keep this from Isabella, Lev and especially Ollie. There is now a great deal of distrust among them and Ollie is ordered to marry her and watch her. So this enemies to lovers stories is filled with intrigue, action, violence and lots of spice. Renata is gifted with an unusual ability that really fascinated me. As with the other books in this series I have read, the book was engaging fast read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
