Wales by Terry Deary

slow-paced

2.0

This was my 20th book finished in 2025.

The first few chapters were so boring! What an unengaging way to start the book. Honestly it didn't get any better, this felt like a real slog, and all just so boring!

It makes Wales and Welsh people sound dull - what have I learned from this book? Welsh people: are obsessed with heads, are oppressed by the English, are Methodist, are miners. That's all. Seems very one-dimentional.

There were three classic boomer "technology bad" jokes in the cartoons - why does Martin Brown weirdly hate modern technology so much?
