i buddy read this with my friend jay which definitely made this 10x better (thank u sm jay).
i was a bit weary at first of this coming from the pov of death themselves but i actually kinda liked it? liesel’s story as heartbreaking, her relationship with her adopted father, hans, was so beautiful. i was so emotionally attached to everyone that the ending really hurt me, and was so unexpected
