More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
5.0
You could literally give me anything Adam Silvera wrote and I’d enjoy every minute, let alone his debut novel, that’s so raw and heartbreaking that I couldn’t put it down. Not quite sure how I didn’t see the twist coming, but reading that part of the book was ALL the feels. Adam Silvera’s writing has a certain cadence to it that I absolutely love, and you could totally see that starting to form here. Most importantly, I loved the new ending he wrote in 2020! Totally understand why people were grumpers about the OG ending in 2015, and I think it’s so cool that he went back to revisit the characters and give Aaron his (more) happy (than not) ending.
