The Dead Zone by Stephen King
this was a relatively quick read for a stephen king, and in all honesty it reminded me very much of 11/22/63, which could be a result of me reading them right in a row but i don’t think that’s the only reason. a lot of consideration of (political) power, the responsibility one person has for the future of many, and what really amounts to something being “right” or “wrong.” there’s not much explanation, but rather more food for thought. it’s clearly pre-car accident king, as it has a much darker tone, but you can still find glimpses of hope if you choose to.
