I really love the Black Harbor series. I’m obsessed with nordic noir, which is just a bit darker than most crime fiction. Hannah’s writing is very on par with nordic noir. Her stories are dark, fucked up, and so very creepy and atmospheric. I’m drawn in immediately. This book was no different than the others I’ve read by her. I’m just gonna keep this review short, though. This book deserves going in blind. Just do it, because I loved it. When I’m Dead is unputdownable. I love this series, and the books just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait for more from Hannah! Go check it out if you’re a fan of dark crime fiction!
