I tried to read this when it was first released but it didn't grab my attention. I decided to give it another try when the audiobook was released. While the narration was absolutely 5 stars, it couldn't make up for a mostly boring story. The plot revolves around a religion which I rarely enjoy. Also it is quite gory at times and there is the slaughter of an animal that you should be prepared for if that bothers you.
