I shouldn't have read this book right after a Sookie Stackhouse as they both have plucky Southern heroines who are mysteriously amazingly attractive to vampires. This was a pretty fun, light read and I liked that Jane was a librarian and had an awesome dog. There are also some good oneliners, and I'll probably pick up some of the others in this series. This one also dealt interestingly with how a person transitions from living to undead.
