i will accept no criticism of this book. it made me laugh out loud and spit fake a few times (still chuckle whenever i think about LION!) but it also made me emotional.
the relationship between libby and nora was so complex and beautiful and real. i love the portrayal of their trauma and how it affected them both in such different ways
the greatest feat of it all, it made this misandrist lesbian actually enjoy a straight romance for the first time since coming out.
emily henry is a genius. her writing is exactly my cup of tea and this book was exactly what i needed after a draining week (i read it all in a day).
i listened to the audiobook while reading and the narration was 10/10 so defo recommend that
only reason it’s not 5 stars is because WHY ARE THEY GETTING ENGAGED AFTER BEING TOGETHER FOR LESS THAN A YEAR?! absolutely not.
this book defo gets top points for not having a miscommunication trope in the relationship
