Man, these books are so good! They're the perfect balance of romance and action, and this one ended on such a crazy note! The story was so engaging, and the relationship between Shane, Ellis, and Rory progressed perfectly along with the plot. I already liked Shane and Ellis from the previous book, though the impression they left on Cal made them both look pretty dumb. Pretty much as soon as this book started, though, I was instantly endeared to them. Throwing in the poly twist to their destined mate was a really interesting curveball, and I loved the way Rory was written into their relationship. I think Rory is my favorite character yet from this series. Not only is he a total badass, but he's sweet and loving, too, and a perfect compliment to both Shane and Ellis. Ms. Jackson's story just keeps getting more interesting, as well, and Pia ended up being a perfect addition to their little family. Her story started out really sad, but she ended up with three loving dads, and a cast of characters around her who were all ready to protect her. I can't wait to read the next book in this series when it comes out!
