I am completely, utterly, madly, irrevocably in love with Shane & Ilya.

This book had such a chokehold on me in a way I never saw coming. The pining and angst in this story were unmatched. My heart ached for them to allow themselves to be free and in love after dancing around their feelings for 7 fucking years. I honestly think their summer vacation broke me and turned me into an embarrassingly messy puddle of giggles and swooning.

I loved Shane, but Ilya has my soul. I never wanted his POVs to end. He was such a cocky, adorable asshole who just needed to be loved and feel safe. I loved the way he talked, from his bluntness to his accent, and how we saw his English progress through the years.
Lastly, I absolutely adored how they chose to honor his mom’s memory and help others fighting similar battles.
