4.5/5 There are many things this book has going for it:

-A Strong female character
-A love interest who for not one second tries to protect her or hinder her from doing something just because she's a girl
-A female character pretending to be a boy (always awesome!)
-Two girls who, even though they like the same guy DON'T hate each other because of it.

This book wasn't quite what I was expecting, but ended up being a great story of adventure and survival. Can't wait to start the next book.
