In order to prepare for the third book and review it properly, I went back to read the prior two novels....and HOW DARE YOU CL WERNER. By going back and spending all the time with those characters, I was not prepared for how invested I'd be.
This was a fantastic series, with this book being my favourite of the lot. Werner really went all in on showcasing how no one is safe in this world, which led to some pretty heightened emotions near the finale.
Great action, fun characters, and an overall great time.
