I know I have come this far (76% of the book, specifically), but I don't think I can finish it anymore. I just think that the story was being stretched out longer than what it's supposed to be. It is the epitome of slow burn but there was no romance. I don't have a problem with romance-less book but I just can't resonate with Toru anymore. Unlike Kafka, I can feel our connection for being both young and lost but with a married man like Toru, I don't think we can bond just like him and May Kasamara do. So I guess this is the end Mr. Wind-up Bird, till we meet again.
