Me DNFing this is ENTIRELY about me and not about the book. Very quickly I realized the heroine had been assaulted - hints were given within the first chapter. At the time I picked this up in Nov 2023 I was not in the headspace to read a book with this kind of conflict. A hopefully temporary DNF.
