I am in awe over this duet from H.D. Carlton. Yes it's dark, yes it's twisted, and yes, some people won't like it. That being said, I absolutely loved it! It angered me, saddened me, made me smile, and made me sick. The story is sad, but so on point, I believe about what happens in the trafficking world, and that is tragic. But the story between Addie and Zade is like nothing I've ever read before. And it's one I won't forget anytime soon. I read the first book in paperback and it ended so shockingly I couldn't WAIT for the 2nd. And dang if it didn't pop up on Kindle! Phew!

I won't say more, I won't spoil. If you haven't read it and you aren't easily grossed out, offended, give it a read. But make sure to read Haunting Adeline 1st!

I did pick it up and put it down for a long time due to life, but I will say once I picked it up again, there was NO way I was putting it back down!
