This is a book that is a girl settling for a guy who does the bare fucking minimum like he doesn't redeem himself - literally despite supposedly wanting Anna to be strong and independent she doesnt hold her ground ever feels awkwardly passed and the fact that Mason just says i love you and it's all okay is lazy writing, building up so much conflict but doesn't deal with it which is a theme for the author
