The Housemaid by Freida McFadden

4.0

Knowing already that this book has twists, I kind of almost guessed where this story was heading towards. I lost interest at about 65% to this book because it was getting exactly as I was suspecting it to be, but that maybe not necessarily be the case with everyone. With short chapters ending on cliffhangers, honestly this is a page turner, and would work real well if one is in a reading slump, or want to try their hands on psychological thrillers for the first time. Not extraordinarily great, but enjoyable enough!

Also, I had no idea that this is very possibly a retelling of a very popular french folklore (iykyk!)
