SA Cosby is one of the BEST writers alive. His work is masterful, beautiful, and intense. I know that when reading one of his books, I know I'm going for a ride.
Titus Crowne reminded me slightly of Alex Cross from James Patterson's series. Titus was the first Black sheriff in his hometown, and you know that went over about as well as a lead balloon.
The subject matter was heavy but handled excellently. There is a school shooting, and the suspected killer was a black boy. Charon County was so divided, and the shooting unraveled a horrible tragedy.
Do yourself a favor and read this book.
