Beautiful and brutal twist and turns that I did not see coming. I enjoy the back and forth between character timelines as we see their lives unfold individually and together.
Some of the character development is very subtle, and seems to be missed by some reviewers that are not connecting to the ending. Though I admit I did hesitate back & forth on giving 4.5 vs the 5 stars I did simply because the ending felt unsettled, but that is a reflection of reality which I think was the point.
As a Minnesotan who worked briefly at a supper club I also loved the sense of place, and how the supper club became a character.
