I was going to go with three stars but the author's persona, the voice, was lovely. I wasn't overly impressed by the telling, and though it goes with the territory of nonfiction sometimes, I still found it a bit choppy and forced in some areas. Overall, an inspiring tale though. I would like to read more from Strayed. I'm glad I've been introduced with such a personal work.
