The dialogue and the dynamics between the MC and the love interest was annoying. Adam instead of coming through as a cocky, confident guy was actually more arrogant and annoying.
The MC, Ray came across as more fussy and bitter than  anything else.
Do not pick up for the mystery.
Do not pick up for a nicely built romance.
It's basically instalove.
