What a wonderful book combining memoir and music criticism. Sorry to say that before reading this, I knew absolutely nothing about a Tribe Called Quest, but I was pulled in by the lovely writing and pure enthusiasm of the author. This book is an education. Truly a love letter. I will read everything Hanif writes now.
